Julio Guzman is originally from the Dominican Republic, born in a small town in the north of the Dominican Republic. Where a nearby river provided running water and the moon and stars provided illumination, along with a kerosene lamp.
Julio was the youngest of five children, coming from a modest family surrounded by love. His parents taught him solid principles of honesty, respect, and work. Since he was a child, he has learned to work with wood. He became passionate about the details and the transformation of wood. His first job was as an apprentice in a carpentry shop at the age of 12, and after the first year he learned to build furniture from scratch. This is the basis on which he has built his construction and remodeling business today.
At the age of 19 when he graduated from high school, he already had a technical career as a cabinetmaker. He later moved to Santo Domingo to work at Verizon Ex GTE and was able to finish his college studies with a degree in Marketing Management. Still, in his spirit, he felt more like an entrepreneur than pursuing his college degree.
He came to the United States in 2003, and in that same year, he started working in construction with a very close friend. Since 2005, he has owned and operated his own construction company, which he has used to build the dreams of thousands of clients over the course of his 20-year career.
His passion is to transform spaces and with that, positively impact the lives of the people who hire him to do so. Being a friend to his clients is as significant as delivering a quality service and product.
Julio Guzman was born in the countryside, raised in a small town, and educated in the main capital of his country, the Dominican Republic. For the past 20 years, he has been running his own business in the world’s largest nation.
